Product Manager, Crossroads Industrial Services
If you want to do business with one of our most reliable, dedicated and knowledgeable managers at Crossroads Industrial Services, Steve is one of them. His career spans 28 years at CIS and has included working in our mailing operations early on for several years, which led to a supervisory position and then more packaging opportunities, which led to overseeing our Shipping & Receiving area, and also breathing new life into and overseeing our Metal Fabrication area. Steve also worked at Hopewell Industries from 1993-95 in Anderson, Indiana, as the Work Center Manager where he oversaw 100 plus production and staff employees.
Steve attended IUPUI, with an emphasis on business and elementary education.He holds a metal fabrication equipment certification for our Trumpf ToPS 300 machine, which is one of the largest pieces of metal fabrication equipment at CIS. He has trained employees in the fabrication of aluminum metal identification panels made for one of our largest customers, the U.S. Government. Steve has also received several INARF accreditations for service training over the years, received an Aby Award from Easter Seals Crossroads for going above and beyond his regular duties in his job, and became a graduate of the Walt Disney Customer Service training program.
Due to the ever changing business world, Steve and CIS have adapted to our customer needs of logistics and supply chain management and fulfillment services. Steve strives to provide the best service possible with a quality product, at a fair price with on-time delivery, and the goal of continually improving our services. Steve is especially proud that he has trained many employees over the years, especially employees with disabilities, with skills and abilities that made them more productive, independent and valuable, and prepared them for other jobs at CIS or elsewhere, to make a better life as a result.
Steve currently lives in Lawrence Township with his wife. He enjoys anything involved with baseball. He was very active in the Lawrence Township Youth Little League as an Officer for many years when his two children were growing up. He and his wife enjoy traveling. He spends lots of his free time these days taking care of and enjoying his grandkids. As Steve would say, he’s “livin’ the dream!”
