By the time most are getting up in the morning, Jeff Gore has already arrived at work, opened the building for business and begun managing his employees to make sure they meet the day’s work requirements. Before the sun is even up, Jeff is already helping Crossroads Industrial Services deliver a quality product in a timely manner at a fair price.
Jeff’s wide array of experience comes from the multiple leadership positions he’s held at for Crossroads for the last 24 years.
His current role at CIS includes customer service, production planning, business development, product cost analysis, certified forklift trainer, and ISO Quality & Safety management administrator, just to name a few. Jeff took over the ISO 9001 Quality program in 2006, and has successfully developed it into an effective program that has been re- registered until May 2015.
Since 2010, Jeff has led the Quality Work Environment Initiative Program sponsored by Source America, which has resulted in many improvements to the work environment for our employees and created best practices for our business. As a result, over the last several years Source America has awarded Crossroads the Bronze, Silver and Gold level achievements in recognition of our commitment to our employees with disabilities demonstrated by our level of participation in the QWE initiatives.
In 2012, Jeff was called upon to present our ISO Quality Program at the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (INARF) conference to help other businesses like ours understand the challenges and rewards of having such a program.
Several years ago, Jeff was recognized by Easter Seals Crossroads with the ABy award, given to employees who go “Above and Beyond” their regular job duties. Jeff was recognized for taking care of one of our biggest customers at the time, Ford Motor Company, and solving customer issues effectively. Jeff also received an “Outstanding Customer Service” award from one of our current customers, Skydex, for providing great results for our customer.
Born and raised on the eastside of Indianapolis, Jeff currently resides on the southside where he is married and raising four children. In his spare time, he coaches grade school level football, baseball and basketball and shares family time following his kids around with all of their sports activities. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science while attending Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) at night during the first several years he worked for CIS.
